Uganda 2023 – Day 3: Begin Surgeries

To wish that everything would go right from the beginning, is only a wish. With all the months of planning, you can never expect to plan the unexpected. Things just happen. Such is the case for “day one of surgeries.”

However, from adversity comes creativity and the need to find alternatives and make it happen. With the amazing Uganda team’s ingenuity, we were off and running in no time.

In addition to operating rooms going full-steam, our art teams were out spreading good will through “bubble therapy” and our entertaining CPR training team were on point.
