San Lucas Toliman Day 1: Main Group

Wheels up in Kansas City at 5:48am without check-in issues for our team of 16 volunteers. We were even able to check in our carry-on for free! We headed to Atlanta, GA for our two hour layover. There we will meet 3 others volunteers who are traveling on different tickets.

At 12:59pm we hit wheels down. We went though customs then located all of our luggage. We met Marvin and Edgar, our drivers. We will travel by road for 3-4 hour to reach our final destination. Marvin and Edgar will take our supply bags to the hospital where we will unpack tomorrow on Sunday.
