The First Step Towards Healing – Screening Patients
The first step in the healing process is patient screening—often one of the most emotional and overwhelming parts of the mission. There are always more people in need than we can serve, and that reality weighs heavily on the team.
On Sunday, over 120 Guatemalans came seeking medical help. After thorough evaluations, we identified 72 patients as candidates for surgery, including 14 children who will receive pediatric procedures.
It’s going to be a busy week, but we’re ready to provide life-changing care to those who need it most.
