Nora White Humanitarian Award

The Nora White Humanitarian Award for Service is named after one of our most beloved volunteers and benefactors. In honor of Nora, this special award is presented annually to a volunteer, who has given of themselves to the service of the people we care for.  

With her signature clown outfit, she entertained the children,  taught them health habits and comforted the sick. When confronted with kids whose diseases could not be taken care of during the medical missions, she would readily volunteer to pay for them. This desire to make a difference in the lives of the needy was a hall mark of Nora in all of the missions she  participated in. Tagbilaran City, Bohol  was a special place however, and the people loved Nora. The city adopted her officially as an Honorary Citizen.

Those who knew her,  will forever have an enduring love for Nora White. We will always hold her dear to our hearts.
