We would like to invite you to join us on a medical mission trip to Nyamira, Kenya. This mission provides a unique opportunity to offer vital medical services to a community in need.
Our itinerary includes leaving Kansas City on Thursday January 8th, arriving in Nairobi on January 9th where we will stay overnight before traveling to Nyamira by bus on Saturday, January 10th. The bus journey is estimated to take approximately four to five hours. Upon arrival, our goal is to conduct a pre-assessment on Sunday evening, allowing us to be fully prepared to commence our surgical work on Monday, January 12th, 2026.
We will be working with two dedicated operating rooms, including one larger room that can accommodate two OR tables, enabling simultaneous side-by-side surgeries to maximize our impact. The specialties accompanying the team will include General Surgery, Plastics, Urology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS), ensuring a comprehensive range of care.
